Solution of energy supply using an energy chain system for a manipulator. The manipulator is used in a concrete plant for transportation of building blocks. The travelling length of the manipulator is 36 meters wit feeding point in the middle. It is a replacement of an existing enrgy chain that has been characterized by a high failure rate. This application is characterized by a very demanding environment with a high degree of dustiness, humidity and high temperature. In this case was used the ekd chain type PKK 328/200 with sliding shoes. The energy chain includes a hose for compressed air and cables for power, control signals and data.
