Stahl CraneSystems begins to take advantage of Columbus McKinnon's global collaboration. One of the challenges that this cooperation brings is usage of Magnetek remote controls on Stahl hoists. Whether it's a crane or a monorail, these ergonomically successful and reliable remote controls are the optimal way how to control this lifting technology. The advantages for the crane manufacturer are clear - the optimally placed and integrated receiver is already connected to the electrical equipment of the hoist. And what does the end user get? In addition to mutually optimized lifting technology and control system, he gets two transmitters as a standard! He must not be worry yet about a maybe ridicilous but unpleasant situation when the operator loses, breaks or just puts the transmitter somewhere. The second transmitter is always here ready to be used!
That is why we have also installed the Magnetek remote control on our 6.3t / 13.5m overhead crane in our training center. And on the 16th of June 2021, a technical training took place focused on the construction, setup and repair of these handy and practical remote controls.
